I am still viewing OWL on Overwatch League. I know that our developers are looking into issues that are similar to yours" In the mean time, I recommend reporting this on the Overwatch Bug Forums so that it can be looked into further. If you’re only watching on a screen where your husband is logged in, then he’ll get the tokens. I’ve had it happen with me where I’m trying to log in but it was my husband’s email in the space instead of mine… >_<Īnyway, since you’re both watching, make sure that you’re essentially watching it on two screens/two accounts. When logging into the Blizzard Application, please make sure that you’re logging in to the correct account. You should get an email soon, if not already, to reset it. Regarding the password issue, I’ve gone ahead and sent a password reset from my end. "Looking over your account, I do see that you’ve gotten at least 2 tokens each viewing day, if not more, since the 22nd. On to my second Ticket to Blizzard support, because something is definitely not right and now my access to the game is in jeopardy, their response: After the second password reset still can not log in says “Please enter your password” so my husband has an idea and clicks the cog via steam log in and “Continue without logging in” and it works I can play and am in game while the start up page says “Go Online” with a disconnect plug by my name. Which I do… actually twice because after the 1st password change I could longer access Overwatch… to be able to play. So my husband suggests I try changing my password. com, no tokens while my husband was receiving his. I resorted back to trying on Overwatch League. I was thinking okay problem solved I will just view here then when I tried to continue watching on MLG I could not find the live match and was struck with the news that not all OWL matches were going to be on MLG. Switched over to my Twitch account, again the same thing so I did a little looking and found that I could earn OWL tokens through MGL so I created an account and received 2 tokens that night presumably from the maps I viewed through that account. With all of these things in place I attempted viewing OWL directly on the Overwatch website a few maps in while my husbands token count was climbing mine had received none. I had been using FireFox initially and attempted Chrome prior to submitting my first ticket, but switched back to Firefox to avoid the possibility that “Google Chrome’s power saving feature which will pause a broadcast if you mute the tab and navigate to a different tab-this will prevent you from earning tokens” Not that that had happened, just to avoid the possibility that Chrome was a problem at all. Since I was receiving some tokens it was safe to assume that I was connected properly (although I did sign out and back in to make sure) and that I had no ad blockers on. That said, we can’t actually see which matches you’d watched, so I’m afraid that there’s not a way that we’re able to see how many you’re missing =/”Īccompanied by a link to a list of possible resolutions which I attempted to use to trouble shoot during the next weeks round of OWL… “I do see you getting some, so looks like you’re linked properly. Created my first ticket about this to Blizzard support to which the response was: I then tried watching through twitch, still tokens not being rewarded. Then as my husband and I watch in tandem under each of our own accounts, on each of our own separate computers we noticed he would receive tokens while I would not. I originally was watching OWL live via Overwatch League. I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing exactly the same issue, however let me start by saying I have tried everything that my husband can think of.
